First, you have to know your skin type because it will help you learn how to take care of your skin and choose the right skin care products for you.

  • Dry skin is often rough and itchy.
  • Oily skin is shiny and greasy and is more prone to acne.
  • Combination skin is a mix of dry and oily skin. In many cases, the cheeks are dry, while the forehead and nose are greasy.

As for sensitive skin, it is the result of sensitivity to some substances, causing a feeling of burning.

Skin care tips

1. Protect your skin from the sun

The sun’s ultraviolet rays damage the skin and may cause sunburn, skin cancer, and premature skin aging such as wrinkles and age spots.

So you must protect your skin by:

  • Use a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher for your skin.

  • If you feel that your lips are chapped or dry, apply Vaseline for extra moisture.

4. Avoid touching your skin

  • Your hands can transfer germs and oils to your face.
